Stepping Out in Faith and Up in Stewardship

I am excited about St. David’s upcoming fall Stewardship campaign. Several years ago St David’s adopted the concept of Year Round Stewardship with these key elements: Stewardship being a way of life, growing our faith, spreading the love of Christ, and growing God’s Kingdom through generosity.

Everything we have, we have received as a gift from God. It is through the use of all those gifts that we are able to accomplish the mission of His Church. It is through each person’s commitment to generosity that St David’s is able to accomplish all that we do. Please prayerfully discern your pledge to St David’s for the coming year. Discern if God is encouraging you to step out in faith and increase your pledge. In order for St David’s to continue our mission to the community and beyond we must have the funds for salaries, facility costs (utilities, insurance, maintenance), missional opportunities, and new ministries that the Lord places on our hearts.

Your faithful giving will insure that when needs arise- St David’s will be there.

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.  And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.  2 Corinthians 9:7-8
